Who Did Yahoshua Say He Was?
Here is what Jesus (Yahoshua) said about himself:
He called himself the Son of man 82 times. (John 6:27) Son of man means a human, a mortal.
He called himself the son of God 5 times. (John 10:36)
He called himself the messiah 4 times. (John 4:25)
He said, "My Father is greater than I." (Jn.14:28)
The words which you hear are not mine, but are the words of the Father which sent me.(Jn.14:24)
I do nothing of myself; but as my Father has taught me, I speak these things. (Jn.8:38)
The Father is in me. (Jn.14:11)
Jesus said the Father is his God.
I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. (John 20:17)
Thou shalt worship the father, thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. (Luke 4:8)
Jesus did not say he was God.
Jesus did not say he was God the Son.
Jesus did not say he was part of a trinity.
Jesus did not say he was the Father.
Jesus did not say he was a God.
Jesus did not say he was an angel.
Jesus did not say he was the Logos.
Jesus did not say he was alive somewhere before he was born.
Jesus did not say he had a miraculous Virgin birth.
Jesus did not say he was eternal (that means had no beginning or end).
Jesus said he was a descendant of Adam (Ben (son) of Adam (man).
